Penthouse Apartment with Pool

Luxurious yet unpretentious, this four bedroom residence with its impossibly cool rooftop pool is an oasis at the heart of Glyfada. The house spans two floors adorned with hardwood floors and bathed in natural light. The living area is airy and bright, fitted with glass doors that open to a generous veranda equipped for outdoor dining. The mood here is fresh and contemporary, with a palette of crisp whites and neutrals playfully interrupted by bold tropical patterns. The two bedrooms that are located on the living area level feature glass doors that invite the sunlight and the breeze inside. A spiraling staircase leads to the upper level, which comprises an attic-style loft with a sloped roof.


This was converted into a two-bedroom unit that affords privacy while still being part of the house. Instead of cramming the loft with claustrophobic rooms, a single glass wall was used to separate the two bedrooms, and another glass door was fitted to lead to the decked terrace. This created a set of spaces that flow effortlessly into each other and are open to the sweeping vistas. The terrace, fitted with comfortable loungers and a swimming pool that overlooks the cityscape, is an ideal spot for midday repose or afternoon BBQs with friends.
